The New York Museum of Jewish Heritage has gravely erred in horribly disrespecting Governor Ron DeSantis, one of the greatest friends and allies of Israel and the Jewish people.

Governor DeSantis has been a champion of Jewish rights and Jewish safety, working tirelessly to implement mandatory Holocaust Studies in Florida, pushing back against the BDS movement, providing funds for Jewish Schools’ safety programs and passing numerous pro-Israel, pro-Jewish legislations. The list of his sincere contributions to the Jewish community is impressive despite the ongoing media blackout and systemic sabotage of this basic truth.

The New York Museum proudly flaunts its association with openly anti-Israel, anti-Semitic politicians such as Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, invited to speak at the Museum despite her association with the radical anti-Israel elements in Congress, yet the Museum turns its back on Governor DeSantis who is a champion of the Jewish cause and was instrumental in moving the US embassy to Jerusalem.

JEXIT condemns this dishonest, politically motivated decision and denounces the New York Museum of Jewish Heritage as another front for leftist policies dangerous to the very cause they claim to represent. They must apologize to Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis. This is an embarrassment for serious, objective Jews. The infiltration of seemingly Jewish, pro-Israel organizations by the progressive left is a dangerous, deceitful practice which JEXIT will continue to expose. JEXIT highly suggests that each Museum Board member take our training in contemporary Judeo-Christian relations.

I think many Jews have forgotten where they came from and the history of discrimination they have endured. The lack of tolerance for different opinions and beliefs is what led to the annihilation of 6 million Jews 70 years ago. I think the people who made the decision in regards to Govenor DeSantis, have not learned any lessons from the past or have chosen to forget them. Very sad. I am ashamed as a Jew that other Jews would be so intolerant.
